A Technique for You to Try!!!

It's Totally Tuesday!! I finally was able to make a template for a new fold I saw and will try to stamp images and post later today. I do have something to share - today's technique is called Moonlighting. I love doing different techniques and this one was fast and easy.

Moonlighting Technique

Use the paper trimmer to cut one piece of light colored cardstock [I used Pink Pirouette]

Stamp image. [I used Pacific Point for the trees]

Use a circle punch and post-it note to make a moon "mask" [I used 1 1/4 circle]

Place the mask over some of the trees.

Ink your brayer and roll across the piece of cardstock once - do not go back and forth, you will get lines. [I used Baja Breeze]

Remove mask and you have a great looking image!

I mounted mine on Apricot Appeal and Riding Hood Red to finish it off. Try it and let me know how it came out!!

Great technique. I love this set and hope it never retires! There is so much that you can do with it.

Kate,
That is beautiful. I have never done that technique before and just got a brayer in. You know what that means...
