Wacky Wednesday
ANYthing goes on Wednesdays! I completed the Gift bags for the girl's badges, the Keys for the Key Ceremony and the corsages. Oops! You may not know I am a Girl Scout Leader of a Group Troop with 2nd graders through 12th graders and our end of the year Court of Awards/Bridging ceremony is Friday. We have five 12th grade girls who have been scouts since Kindergarten or 1st grade who are bridging to Adults.
I did my take on Gretchen Barron's Basket and created bags to hold the badges the girls will be presented.
I used the Big Shot with the Baskets & Blooms Die; Pink Flamingo DSP; Whisper White, Rose Red, Pink Pirouette, and Lavender Lace Cardstock; Pretty in Pink, Rose Red and Lavender* Grosgrain Ribbon and Chunky White Glitter. Floral punches used were Boho Blossoms, 5 Petal Flower and the other 3 flower punch, what is it called?? I also wrote their names on a tag (Tag punch) and tied it on the back. (* discontinued)
While playing around, I modified the pattern and made a great place card holder. The box is only 1 inch wide, perfect to hold a little something. The Daisies represent Juliette Gordon Lowe, our founder, and the Silver and Gold ribbon represent our friends, new and old.
Have a great day!

Those are beautiful, I love the flamingo one!
You deserve a few badges yourself. I have been the OCC for the Graf Girl Scouts for the past two years. Volunteers like you are the only thing that keeps GS going. I know the girl's appreciate it, especially since you are so talented!
WOW, these are gorgeous!!!!!!!
Those boxes are so cute. I am sure the Girl Scouts will love them.
OH...these are so cute! I've never made one! Guess it's time for me too huh?
What a great Girl Scout project. You deserve a special badge!
Kate,
I love the bags. I need to make a few to just have around. And the paper is gorgeous. Glad we have the special going on now. I must get some!!
